Elizabeth . Vonne

Elizabeth Karpinski Vonne practices corporate and securities law. Ms. Vonne advises both public and private companies on corporate finance transactions and general corporate matters. She has represented both U.S. and international clients in a variety of industries in capital markets transactions including equity and debt securities offerings and exchange offers, mergers and acquisitions, minority equity investments, and corporate bond restructurings. Ms. Vonne represents and advises financial institutions as indenture trustees in connection with corporate debt securities issued under trust indentures.  Ms. Vonne also regularly drafts and reviews periodic reports and other documents required to be filed by public companies with the SEC under the federal securities laws, and advises on corporate governance and executive compensation matters. Ms. Vonne is Co-Chair of the Securities Law Subsection and a Member of the Executive Council of the Business Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors and chair of the Business Committee of the Japan America Society of Colorado. Ms. Vonne speaks and writes regularly for seminars on corporate and securities issues (including as listed in the above "News & Publications" tab). Ms. Vonne graduated from Columbia Law School in 2002. Prior to graduating, she was a Ministry of Education Fellow at the University of Tokyo. Ms. Vonne graduated from Amherst College, magna cum laude, with a degree in Anthropology. Before joining DGS, she practiced as an associate with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York City.
