Kara Chrobak, Esq., is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Denver office and a member of the Firm’s Family Law group. She specializes in cases involving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients throughout Colorado, including the Denver metro area and the mountain communities of Vail, Breckenridge, Aspen, and Telluride. Ms. Chrobak assists clients in dissolution of marriage actions involving complex business valuations, unique trust interests, separate property tracing, closely held businesses, and executive compensation issues. Leaning on skills learned as a former commercial litigator, Ms. Chrobak also has significant experience both challenging and defending against the enforcement of marital and premarital agreements. Ms. Chrobak also handles international cases, including custody disputes involving the Hague Convention. Ms. Chrobak enjoys collaborating with other professionals in the industry, including estate planning attorneys, family office representatives, financial experts, and accountants, to develop creative strategies on behalf of her clients, and she approaches every case with the ultimate goal of resolution. Ms. Chrobak earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Journalism from the University of Denver. She is licensed in Colorado and has the additional court admissions: United States Supreme Court Tenth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals and United States District Court for the District of Colorado.
