Randi E. Lappin
Honorable Randi E. Lappin is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and Georgia
State University College of Law. She came to the Social Security Administration from
private practice in April 1998 as a staff attorney, drafting decisions for Administrative Law
Judges. She served the Agency as a Group Supervisor, Hearing Office Director, Regional
Attorney and Federal Reviewing Official prior to her July 2008 appointment as an
Administrative Law Judge. Judge Lappin came to Denver as the Hearing Office Chief
Administrative Law Judge in April 2009, and has been serving in that capacity since that
time.
