Alyson K. Scott, Esq., is the owner of Alyson Scott Law, LLC, a Denver-based law firm specializing in Colorado water rights. She practices statewide advising an array of individual, corporate, and public clients on transactional, litigation, and legislative matters involving water rights. She has written, lectured, and provided experiential instruction on water rights and litigation topics, including for the University of Denver Water Law Review and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Her trial experience extends to both trials before the Division One Water Court and family law cases in multiple districts courts in Colorado. In addition to her practice, she currently serves in various leadership roles with the Colorado Bar Association, including Chair of the Water Law Section Executive Council, Chair of the Leadership Selection Committee, and Water Law Section Liaison to the Board of Governors, as well as serving as a mentor with the University of Denver Sturm College of Law's Mentoring Program.
