James L. (Jim) Jehn, CPG has a Masters Degree in Ground Water Hydrology and is current President of Jehn Water Consultants, Inc., a Water Resources Consulting firm located in Denver, Colorado. Jim’s 37 years of experience of providing water resources and water rights consulting in Colorado and surrounding states includes: ground water and surface water resource evaluations, surface water availability analyses, historic irrigation consumptive use studies, augmentation plans, surface and ground water rights studies, temporary substitute supply plans, water well design, aquifer and pump test analyses, and dewatering studies. Jim also specializes in valuations of water rights. He has been qualified as an expert witness and testified in Colorado Water Courts as an expert in the fields of surface and ground water rights, valuations of water rights, computer modeling, geology, hydrogeology, hydrology and geophysical logging. Clientele include: municipalities, developers, industry, Special Districts, governmental agencies, attorneys, real estate professionals, and individual homeowners. Jim taught a senior level ground water hydrology course at CU Denver for thirteen years. Jim is past-president of Colorado Ground Water Association, and past-president of the Colorado Section of the American Institute of Professional Geologists.
