Scott H. Challinor, Esq., is an attorney at Conover Law, LLC where his practice focuses on protective proceedings, probate estates, and trust matters. Scott is active with the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, for which he currently serves as Vice Chair for the 2023-2024 term, and will serve as Chair for the 2024-2025 term. Scott manages a listserv that tracks both reported and unreported Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court cases pertinent to protective proceedings, probate estates and trust matters for practitioners seeking to keep apprised of case law developments. Prior presentations Scott has given have covered topics including: probate case law update for the annual Domestic Relations and Probate Institute; remote litigation during the COVID public health emergency; appealing probate orders, and related “finality” concerns; and, conservator initiated divorce proceedings. Scott is a graduate of The Colorado College (B.A. History), the University of Glasgow (M.Phil International Politics) and the University of Colorado (J.D.)
