Fonda Apostolopoulos, PE, has been with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for the past 19 years. He has a background in Civil/Environmental Engineering, and Molecular Biology. During his time with the State, he has been working in the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division as an On-Scene Coordinator and Project Manager at various Superfund Sites in Colorado. Over the past 17 years he has reviewed over 400 Voluntary Cleanup and Redevelopment Act applications, and is the senior member in the program. He has extensive knowledge in cleanups of heavy metals, asbestos in soils, volatile organic compounds, indoor air issues, and radiological sites.
