Rich & Henderson PCTimothy R. Henderson is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Rich and Henderson, P.C. in Annapolis, Maryland. He represents local and national clients in a variety of matters including environmental permitting, merger and acquisition due diligence, natural resources issues, and land use matters. His practice focuses on regulatory compliance counseling on issues ranging from hazardous and solid waste (involving both RCRA and Superfund), environmental permitting, air quality, wastewater disposal, water use, transactional and enforcement matters. Guiding investors through the maze of federal, state and local environmental requirements for acquisition of businesses and real property is a major part of his practice. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, Washington, D.C., New York and Wisconsin. Mr. Henderson began his career in 1980 at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, D.C., and then worked as an assistant regional counsel at EPA Region II in New York City. In 1987, he moved to private practice, first in New York then in Washington, D.C., and, since 1993, in Maryland. Rich and Henderson is a mentor of the Environmental Law Network, an alliance of law firms in a number of states which share their experience for the benefit of their clients. In addition to practicing law, he teaches an environmental law course as an adjunct professor in the Johns Hopkins University Engineering Program for Professionals. Mr. Henderson received both his master's and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
