Amy E. Pohl

Project Safeguard
Amy Pohl, Esq., has spent her career standing alongside survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking—in the courtroom, in classrooms and as a statewide leader in survivor-centered legal advocacy. For almost two decades, she has worked across direct services, statewide coalitions, and academic settings to strengthen survivor safety and transform community responses to abuse. She has represented survivors in civil legal matters, trained multidisciplinary professionals across Colorado, and even co-taught a Stanford University course on violence against women while leading prevention and awareness efforts on campus. Amy now serves as Legal Director at Project Safeguard, where she continues her legal work, and works to advance trauma-informed, equitable judicial systems and responses.
