Lauren E. Sykes has been a litigator in Colorado since 2008. With the primary focus of her practice on civil litigation, Ms. Sykes has handled a broad range of civil matters, including business disputes, employment disputes, intellectual property, trade secrets, and medical malpractice.
Lauren E. Sykes graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law and was then admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2008. While in law school, she was an active member of the Moot Court Competition Team and Moot Court Council and also worked in a clinic defending low-income criminal defendants. After graduation, she moved to Denver, where she began working as an associate at Pryor Johnson Carney Karr Nixon. In 2012, Ms. Sykes joined the Denver office of Lathrop & Gage, where she worked in the business litigation group. In 2015, Ms. Sykes created her own law firm, concentrating her practice on the representation of businesses in a broad range of matters.
Ms. Sykes is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Healthcare Associated Risk Managers.
