Jennifer W. Bezoza
Jennifer Weiser Bezoza, Esq., is a civil rights attorney for the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR), where she investigates and resolves complaints of disability, race, national origin, gender, and age discrimination in education. Before joining OCR, she was a partner at King & Greisen, where she represented plaintiffs in all types of employment discrimination and other civil rights matters. Prior to her work at King & Greisen, Ms. Bezoza was one of the lead plaintiffs' counsel in Lobato v. State and Dwyer v. State, two state constitutional challenges to Colorado's school finance system. Ms. Bezoza has also worked on school funding, school discipline, and special education issues at the Education Law Center, Disability Rights Advocates, California Teachers Association, and the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights. She earned her B.A. in American Studies from Yale University, magna cum laude, and her law degree from New York University School of Law, cum laude. She clerked for Judge Shira Scheindlin in the Southern District of New York and is admitted to practice in New York, California, and Colorado.
