Lauren Fontana, Esq., serves as the ADA & Affirmative Action Compliance Coordinator for the University of Colorado Denver and teaches in UCD's School of Public Affairs. She previously represented plaintiffs in civil rights cases and taught in the University of Denver Sturm College of Law's Civil Rights Clinic. Upon graduating from law school, Lauren clerked for (now Chief) Justice Nancy Rice of the Colorado Supreme Court and Judge Algenon L. Marbley of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She has a computer engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. In 2016, Lauren was named by the National LGBT Bar Association as one of the Best LGBT Lawyers Under the Age of 40.
