Professor Raja Raghunath began his legal career as a union-side labor lawyer in 2002, and he has been teaching at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law since 2007. His scholarly pursuits have ventured beyond labor and employment law, into questions of constitutional law and experiential education, but his practice has always primarily consisted of plaintiff's employment litigation. His program, the Workplace Rights Project, is made up of an employment-only docket of wage and discrimination cases in both state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. DU law students who enroll in the seminar are given the chance to represent live clients in active proceedings, and the Workplace Rights Project has represented over 35 different individuals in this way since its inception in 2014.
