Alexis Michalak, Esq., Originally from Ottawa Lake, Michigan, Alexandra (“Alexis”) Michalak is an experienced oil and gas attorney who specializes in mineral title examination and title curative. Her extensive knowledge and respect for the oil and gas industry began during her final year of law school when she clerked for a Denver-based oil and gas law firm. After graduating Cum Laude in 2007, she began drafting drilling and division title opinions for a small Denver boutique firm. Since then, Alexis has been committed to providing high quality title opinions to her clients in a clear, concise and efficient manner. She strives in reviewing complex chains of title and prides herself on staying up to date on all industry related happenings. Earlier this year, Alexis began teaching oil and gas law for the Petroleum Land and Resource Management Program at Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado. Alexis is licensed to practice in Colorado and Wyoming. She currently resides in Gunnison, Colorado with her husband and two dogs.
