Kimberly C. Perdue
Southwest Water and Property Law, LLCKimberly C. Perdue practices in the La Plata County Attorney’s Office, advising and representing the county’s Board of County Commissioners and its several departments on matters including land use planning, employment law, environmental concerns, public finance, and human services. In her former private practice, Ms. Perdue represented businesses and professionals in the legal, finance, medical, dental, pharmaceutical, construction, and real estate industries.
Ms. Perdue is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Four Corners Bar Association. She has published and presented in the areas of legal malpractice defense, trial practice, employment law, and American Indian law. She received her B.A. from the University of Illinois, her M.A. from the University of Chicago, and her J.D. and Certificate in American Indian Law (with honors) from the University of Colorado Law School.
