Sarah Brucker is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. She has worked for the Division of Water Resources since 2004 and in her current role as Deputy State Engineer with supervision of the Water Supply Branch and Hydrogeology Section and oversight of intrastate litigation coordination since 2023. This position supervises the review and engineering evaluation of substitute water supply plans, water court applications, well permit applications, and other water supply-related activities as well as hydrogeological investigation activities of the Hydrogeology Section.
