Kimberly Utesch, Esq., received her JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2011 and founded Utesch Law, LLC in September 2012. Her practice focuses primarily on family law, the majority of which is currently as a child and family investigator and parenting coordinator/decision-maker. She is a trained and practicing mediator and has received collaborative practice training. Kim has been selected as a SuperLawyers Rising Star for 2017 and 2018 and has received the Colorado Supreme Court Pro Bono Achievement award for three years in a row. Kim has always valued volunteer work and currently volunteers with the Arapahoe County Bar Association Pro Bono Clinic, the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center, and the Florence Crittenton Services Legal Clinic. Kim will be a part of the CBA Family Law Section Executive Council for the first time this year and is a board member for the Arapahoe County Bar Foundation, as well as co-chair of the Lawyers at the Library committee for the Arapahoe County Bar Association. Kim is also a Standard Member of the Mediation Association of Colorado and coordinates the W.O.L.F. (Women Owned Law Firms) group. In her spare time, when she has it, Kim escapes with photography, her pugs, and traveling, and sometimes sees her husband.
