Jane (“Janie”) Cox, Esq., is a Shareholder at Recht Kornfeld, PC. Her practice focuses exclusively on legal ethics, attorney and judicial discipline defense, and ethics issues in government. Prior to returning to private practice, Janie worked in the Trial Division of the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel, investigating and prosecuting matters involving attorney misconduct and the unauthorized practice of law. She is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibilities Lawyers, the American Bar Association, and Colorado Bar Association, where she serves on the CBA Ethics Committee and the Board of Governors. She is also a member of the Colorado Women's Bar Association, the Arapahoe County Bar Association, and is currently the Vice President of the Douglas-Elbert Bar Association. Janie is also interested in innovation in the practice of law and is a member of the National ABS Law Firm Association.
