Janie Cox, Esq., is a Shareholder at Burns, Figa & Will. Her practice emphasizes legal ethics, attorney and judicial discipline defense, and ethics issues in government. Prior to joining Burns, Figa & Will, Janie worked in the Trial Division of the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel, investigating and prosecuting matters involving attorney misconduct and the unauthorized practice of law. Her prior private practice experience included work at two boutique family law firms. Janie serves on the CBA Ethics Committee and is a member of the CBA Board of Governors. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Women's Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, Arapahoe County Bar Association, and is currently the Treasurer of the Douglas-Elbert Bar Association.
