Janie Cox, Esq., is a Shareholder at Recht Kornfeld. Her practice focuses exclusively on legal ethics, attorney and judicial discipline defense, character and fitness inquiries, and ethics issues in government. Prior to returning to private practice, Janie worked in the Trial Division of the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel, investigating and prosecuting matters involving attorney misconduct and the unauthorized practice of law. Her prior private practice experience included work at two boutique family law firms. Janie serves on the CBA Ethics Committee and is a member of the CBA Board of Governors. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Women's Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Arapahoe County Bar Association, and is currently the Vice President of the Douglas-Elbert Bar Association.
