Katherine (Katy) Ellis, Esq., earned her J.D. from The University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a Master’s Degree in International Studies from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies in 2007. Katy is currently a partner at The Harris Law Firm, PLLP, and is based in their Denver office. Katy practices family law and represents clients in litigation, appeals, and drafting marital agreements. Katy enjoys working with the Supreme Court’s Licensed Legal Paraprofessional Oversight Committee and the Colorado Lawyers Committee. She is also an active member of the American Inns of Court and remains actively involved in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. In her practice, Katy particularly enjoys taking on cases with an international component, including child abduction cases and cases in which assets or parties are located overseas. Katy is fluent in Spanish and French.
