Marian Camden, Psy.D, a licensed psychologist and trauma specialist since 1997, specializes in divorce-related matters. She worked for nearly two decades as a PRE and CFI in all of the metro-area counties. She now limits her practice to divorce-related psychotherapy with children and adults, parenting plan mediation and consultation, and parenting coordination/decision making. Dr. Camden is a committed advocate for children and believes “the best interests of the child” is not just an aspirational goal but a moral and legal imperative. She has written six children's books, three of which are divorce-related. A former MDIC board member and past president and recent recipient of the MDIC President's award for outstanding service to divorcing children and families in Colorado, Dr. Camden supervises doctoral students in training and frequently speaks to mental health and legal professional groups on divorce-related topics, particularly early childhood development, attachment and attachment disruptions, and emotional and psychological abuse in the context of divorce.
