Dale E. Skivington

Dale Skivington is the Vice President of Global Compliance, Privacy and Risk at Dell Technologies.  She is responsible for leading a team which manages various compliance risks for Dell, including anti-bribery and data privacy.  She serves as Dell's Chief Privacy Officer. Dale is a former Assistant General Counsel at Kodak and its first Chief Privacy Officer.  She chaired the New York State Business Council's Labor and Human Resources committee, served on the New York Governor's Task Force on Independent Contractors and the Governor's Task Force on Sexual Harassment, and was a founding Board Member and Officer of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.  Prior to joining Kodak, she was in private practice litigating civil rights and personal injury matters, and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York.  She has had two expatriate assignments in Europe.  She is the recipient of Kodak's Leadership Excellence Award, the Potsdam College Outstanding Alumni Award, the Albany Law School's Kate Stoneham Award and Rochester's Top Counsel Award.  She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional. Ms. Skivington has also frequently lectured on privacy, employment litigation, diversity best practices, and various civil rights and employment law matters.  She was an adjunct faculty member of the State University of New York at Brockport, an instructor at the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and a lecturer at the Simon School at the University of Rochester.  She has also been an invited speaker at Teachers College at Columbia University, North Carolina State University's School of Management, the Equal Employment Advisory Council, Privacy and American Business, the American Corporate Counsel Association, Privacy Laws & Business (in the U.K.) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals.  She was an invited presenter at the 2003 International Data Privacy Commissioner's Conference in Sydney and numerous Bar Association programs. Ms. Skivington is on the Board of ESL Federal Credit Union and also served as the Chair of the Women's Health Partnership, the President of the Board of the Legal Aid Society of Rochester, and served on the Monroe County Bar President's Commission on the Access to Justice.  She has also served on the Boards of the Monroe County Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Foundation, Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys, and various community organizations.  She served as the Kodak management sponsor for its women's network, and was a member of the Kodak Trade & Technology Policy Committee and is one of Executive Sponsors for the women's network at Dell.
