Daniel J. Sherwinter
Lockheed MartinDaniel Sherwinter, Esq., is an intellectual property strategist and attorney with over two decades of experience at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation. He currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Lockheed Martin, where he advises on complex IP, technology, and government contracting matters across the Space and Advanced Technology Center organizations. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. Sherwinter spent almost twenty years at law firms, counseling clients ranging from individual entrepreneurs to multinational corporations on global IP strategy, patent prosecution, portfolio development, and strategic transactions. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado, where he teaches IP strategy in the School of Law and business law for engineers in the School of Engineering Management, and he is a past president of the IP Section of the CBA.
