Micah Schwalb, Esq. advises clients on international corporate transactions and federal regulatory compliance. His corporate practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and reorganizations, corporate finance, public and private offerings, venture capital, commercial transactions, and general corporate law across multiple industries and sectors. His compliance experience entails advising companies on regulations applicable to capital-raising transactions, energy development, telecommunications, financial services, and cross-border transactions, in particular issues arising under the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), sanctions programs enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and the USA Patriot Act/Bank Secrecy Act.
 
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Micah served as in-house counsel for a telecommunications company. Mr. Schwalb managed the company's government affairs efforts and strategic corporate transactions, and also appeared before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTTA), the Rural Utilities Service, and various state legislatures.
