Justie Nicol, Esq., is a feisty, red-headed, nerdy mom (to kids, dogs, and horses).She enjoys long walks in the mountains (they're called hikes in Colorado) and she's horse-crazy. Justie is a small-town girl and rural lawyer at heart and often travels to clients throughout the majority of the state of Colorado. Justie has a variety of legal experience. She runs a successful small law firm and two additional companies. Justie practices primarily criminal defense when she does legal work but is also well-known for innovation, systems-design, and using tech to achieve great results for the firm and her clients. She handles all the intakes and marketing for her companies, and is a habitual podcast guest on these subjects. Justie is often teaching other lawyers about tech stacks , guest-lecturing at local universities, advancing lawyer wellbeing initiatives, or giving webinars on automation and AI. She is the Colorado Lawyer Team visionary and the CEO of Nicol Realty (a commercial property management company) and Rogue Raves Consulting.
