Amy E. Symons

Amy Symons, Esq., is a partner with Bryant, Ritsick, Symons & Ratner, LLC, where she practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration. Amy received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2002 and later returned to her native Denver to earn a Master of Laws degree in taxation in 2008 from the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program where she has also been an Adjunct Professor of Estate and Gift Taxation. Amy is active in the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA), a member of the Section’s Executive Council, and a contributor to the CBA Orange Book. Since 2013, Amy has been an Executive Council member of the CBA’s Solo-Small Firm Section and was Council Chair from 2018-2019. She is a member of the Section’s W.O.L.F. Pack (Women Owned Law Firms). The Denver Business Journal named Amy to its “Forty Under 40 Class of 2014” in recognition of her extensive local non-profit community involvement. She graduated from Denver Metro Chamber’s Leadership Denver program in 2015. Recognizing how incredibly important lawyer well-being is to the profession and the community, Amy sits on the Colorado Supreme Court’s Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being. She is involved in the task force’s resulting pilot program addressing lawyer well-being and is a mentor in the Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program.
