Willem Schreüder, Ph.D. is the president and principal scientist of Principia Mathematica and a Teaching Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics in Computational Fluid Dynamics and a PhD in Computer Science in Parallel Systems. He has more than 40 years experience in mathematical modeling and data analysis, and specializes in basin scale groundwater models. He has made significant contributions to numerous models such as the RGDSS Groundwater Model in the San Luis Valley, the Republican River Compact Administration Groundwater Model covering parts of Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska, the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer Model in Idaho, among many others. He is co-author with Dr. John Doherty of PEST, the worlds most widely used software to calibrate groundwater models.
