Alison C. Sorkin

Alison Sorkin, Esq., has served for over a decade as Associate General Counsel at UCHealth, a health system affiliated with the only academic medical center in Colorado. Truly a healthcare generalist, she focuses her practice on regulatory, risk management, and revenue cycle matters, and oversees litigation for her client. Prior to joining UCHealth, Alison was in private practice where she primarily represented hospitals and health care providers in professional liability matters, commercial litigation, and was a trusted partner advising on regulatory and risk management matters. Before her legal career, Alison served as a policy adviser for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. where her portfolio included health care. Alison is a Colorado native and earned her JD from University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She received her B.A. from the School of Public Affairs at American University. She has been a member of the Colorado Bar Association her whole career and served on the Health Law Section Executive Council for the past few years. She currently serves as Chair.
