Todd G. Messenger is a director with the Denver law firm of Fairfield and Woods P.C. His practice in the firm’s real estate group focuses principally on transactions, development entitlements, and land use regulation. Mr. Messenger maintains a balanced practice of public and private sector representation. For public sector clients, Mr. Messenger focuses on regulatory reform projects, such as zoning, subdivision, and sign code amendments and re-writes. Mr. Messenger also provides representation on a variety of other matters, including elections, utilities, and open records policies. Prior to joining Fairfield and Woods, Mr. Messenger practiced, first, as a land use planning and redevelopment lawyer in Florida and as a planning consultant and land development code practice leader for a national land planning and plan implementation firm providing planning and land development code rewrite services for municipalities, counties, townships, and parishes in Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Indiana, Louisiana, Ohio, South Carolina, and Illinois.
