Callahan LawKristine L. Callahan, Esq., focuses her practice primarily on the areas of elder law, estate planning, protective proceedings and probate. Kris, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, moved to Fort Collins in 2006 after living in the Washington DC area for over 10 years. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Health Policy and Administration with distinction in 1992. She worked in health care in the Washington, D.C. area, including working as the administrator for a large medical practice, for over 10 years. Kris became interested in the practice of law as a result of her experience in the health field. She obtained a certificate in Health Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law’s Law & Health Care Program upon her graduation with honor in 2004. While in law school, Kris served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy. Kris has two adult children and two golden retrievers. She lives in Old Town Fort Collins. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, hiking, and any opportunity to listen to live music. When not working in her yard, she is often seen out and about enjoying the Old Town music or patio scene with her dogs.
