Eric L. Nesbitt, Esq., is a partner and founder at the Englewood, CO firm of the Law Offices of Eric L. Nesbitt, PC, where he focuses primarily on real estate transactional and litigation matters. Eric describes himself as the “People's Real Estate Lawyer,” representing individuals, small business owners, non-profit organizations, as well as Fortune 500 companies. In addition, he is the President and CEO of the Nesbitt Commercial Group, a commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm affiliated with Keller Williams Realty. He has been honored as the Keller Williams DTC Commercial Realtor of the Year for the past three years. As a practicing attorney and commercial real estate broker, Eric has often lectured on the ethical considerations facing lawyers with dual professions, as well as on the topics Title Insurance Issues in Residential Real Estate Transactions and Why Buying and Selling Commercial Real Estate is Different from Buying and Selling Residential Real Estate. He has also served as an expert witness in numerous real estate litigation matters, and frequently appears as a legal expert on Denver Fox 31 News.
 
Eric has been practicing real estate law since 1991, and is licensed to practice in Colorado and Illinois. He is the past president of the Denver Metropolitan Association of Realtors and was named the 2009 Commercial Broker of the Year by the Denver Business Journal. Eric serves as a CBA-CLE board member and was recently appointed by Governor Jared Polis to the 18th Judicial District Nominating Commission. He received his B.S degree from University of Illinois, and dual J.D. and MBA degrees from UCLA in 1991.
