Curtis Krechevsky is a partner and Chair of the Trademark & Copyright Department at Cantor Colburn LLP, a full-service intellectual property law firm located in Hartford, Connecticut, with other offices in Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, and Washington, D.C.  Curt's practice focuses on trademark, unfair competition, copyright, rights of publicity and privacy, Internet, advertising, marketing, promotions, licensing, and trade secrets law.  With more than 30 years of both law-firm and in-house experience handling national and international matters in these areas, Curt provides a business-oriented, pragmatic, innovative, and cost-sensitive approach to advising and representing clients of all sizes and from diverse industries.  Curt belongs to a number of legal and trade associations, including the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Bar Association and its Section on Intellectual Property Law, the Boston Patent Law Association, and the International Trademark Association (INTA).  An active INTA participant for many years, Curt is a former member of the INTA Board of Directors and its Executive Committee.  Curt has chaired or co-chaired numerous INTA committees in the past.  He currently serves as Chair of the new INTA Brands and Innovation Committee, following two years as Co-Chair of the INTA Presidential Task Force on Brands and Innovation.  He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition in Washington, D.C.  Curt is a summa cum laude graduate of Yale University and a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School.
