Karen Lest first trained as a mediator in 2001. She is constantly reminded of the persistent need for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes in so many facets of life. Karen began volunteering for Jefferson County Mediation Services soon after mediation training. Pursuing opportunities to learn other ADR methods over the years has included restorative justice and dialogue facilitation and mediation in school settings. Karen believes in putting these skills to work for her community. As she sees the need for conflict resolution in many parts of our world, Karen is committed to being part of the solution.
