Sara S. Price
17th Judicial District
The Honorable Sara S. Price is a District Court Judge for Colorado's 17th Judicial District. Sara is originally from New York and moved to Colorado after graduating law school in 2008. Sara began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen Munsinger in the First Judicial District. After her clerkship, Sara went into private practice and began working for the Public Administrator for the First Judicial District. While in the private sector, Sara's practice focused on probate litigation, guardianships, conservatorships and estate administration. Sara also regularly served as court appointed counsel and guardian ad litem for respondents in protective proceedings. Sara was sworn in as a District Court Magistrate by Chief Judge Donald S. Quick on June 16th, 2021. While serving as a Magistrate, Sara's presided over the probate and mental health docket for the 17th Judicial District. On July 1, 2025, Sara was sworn in as the 17th District Court Judge for the 17th Judicial District. Sara currently presides over a domestic docket.
