Sara S. Price

Honorable Sara S. Price is a Magistrate Judge for Colorado's 17th Judicial District. Sara is originally from Larchmont, New York and moved to Colorado after graduating law school in 2008. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, Sara attended Pace Law School in White Plains, New York. In March 2010, Sara began clerking for the Honorable Stephen Munsinger, Chief Judge of the 1st Judicial District. During her clerkship Sara gained valuable experience in the fields of probate, civil and criminal law. In 2013 Sara began working with the Public Administrator for the First Judicial District. Sara spent eight years in private practice focusing on probate litigation, guardianships, conservatorships and estate administration. Sara also regularly served as court appointed counsel and guardian ad litem for respondents in protective proceedings. Sara was sworn in as a Magistrate by Chief Judge Donald S. Quick on June 16th, 2021. Sara's docket primarily consists of probate, mental health and adoption cases.
