Marlene . Bizub

Marlene Bizub, Psy.D., is a psychotherapist in private practice, focusing primarily on evaluations for the court in domestic relations cases. Dr. Bizub graduated from Wichita State University in 1984 with a Master’s Degree in Gerontology with a Specialist Option in Counseling, and completed a Doctorate Degree in Forensic Psychology in July 2009. Dr. Bizub has served as a Family Preservation Specialist in Dependency and Neglect cases for the court in the past, and currently accepts appointments from the court as Child and Family Investigator, Parenting Coordinator/Decision Maker, or Expert Witness in Domestic Relations cases. Dr. Bizub currently serves on two committees through the courts, the Children and Families in Transition Committee of the 4th Judicial District Court and the Steering Committee of the Multidisciplinary Professionals Serving Families organization. Dr. Bizub also serves as a facilitator for the Children and Families in Transition class through the 4th Judicial District Court. Dr. Bizub is a designated provider of the “For the Kids” Level 2 co-parenting workshop through 4th Judicial District Court, and has recently developed a workshop for children of divorce, entitled “Kids in Transition”. Dr. Bizub has been a presenter at a number of the MDP Continuing Law Education Conferences in Colorado Springs. Dr. Bizub is the Director of Women’s Ministries for her church, and also serves on the district women’s leadership team and the district board of administration. Dr. Bizub has had two articles published in Divorce Edition magazine in Denver. Additionally, Dr. Bizub conducts workshops on Grief Recovery and Divorce Adjustment throughout the community. Dr. Bizub has dedicated her practice to working with children and families going through divorce or transition.
