Bill Murphy is a Sr. Mediator with Community Mediation Concepts where he mediates a variety of community conflict issues that arise from people living in close proximity. He also mediates citizen-police complaints through the Denver Office of the Independent Monitor. Bill spent 33 years in the telecom world, much of it in Sr. management positions. It was there he discovered the benefits of conflict resolution while negotiating settlements, developing budgets, teaching, and mentoring co-workers. Bill continues his work with The Conflict Center in Denver, a nonprofit organization focusing on providing conflict resolution tools to people without the use of violence. Bill is an avid skier and as such he is a Sr. Guide with Foresight Ski Guides, a non-profit providing outdoor challenge recreation to blind and visually impaired individuals. He is on the Board of Directors and has been an active guide since 1982.
