Jennifer “Jenni” Helland, Esq., is a partner at Knies, Helland & McPherson, a family law firm in Colorado Springs. Jenni has a passion for working with families and advocating for her clients and children, bringing a therapeutic background to her practice. She also serves as a CLR, Arbiter, and PC/DM. Jenni is a graduate of The University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minnesota. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jenni served as a high school Behavioral Specialist and worked with Colorado families as a Multisystemic and Family Preservation Therapist. Jenni is a current member of the CBA Family Law Executive Council, ABA, CBA, EPCBA, AFCC, and the Ben S. Wendelken Inn of Court. She is a former chair of the El Paso County Bar Association's Family Law Section, past member of the CBA Board of Governors, founding member of Liberty Tree Academy in District 49, ten-year Level 4 USA Hockey youth coach, and mom of four.
