Cara . Crowley-Weber

Cara Crowley-Weber's practice focuses on the biotechnology and chemical practice areas of intellectual property. She counsels clients on matters related to U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, clearance assessments and freedom to operate opinions, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, licensing agreements, and due diligence reviews. Dr. Crowley-Weber works with clients to manage their patent portfolios and develop business strategies to drive revenue based on their intellectual property. Prior to joining Brownstein, she was partner at Merchant & Gould law firm. Dr. Crowley-Weber obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Microbiology and Immunology, with a minor in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Crowley-Weber's thesis and supporting research focused on the identification of biomarkers indicative of a predisposition to colon cancer.
