Tanya Bartholomew is a legal writing professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a consultant to legal writing professionals.  Prior to joining the DU faculty in 2002, she taught at Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa for 10 years.  While teaching at Drake, Tanya taught legal writing and appellate advocacy.  She was also co-director of a legislative practice clinic.  Prior to teaching, Tanya practiced in the appellate advocacy area.  She also clerked for the Chief Judge of the Iowa Court of Appeals.
