Wendy M. Johnson serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Johnson Financial Group, LLC and JFG Wealth Management, LLC. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2005 and also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kansas. Wendy worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission Denver Regional Office during law school and prior to that worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at Children's Hospital Colorado. As an industry thought leader, Wendy has guest lectured at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, in addition to participating as a featured panelist for a national compliance webinar discussing CCO best practices. Wendy is involved in numerous volunteer activities at Colorado Academy, most recently having served as an officer for the parent teacher association for two consecutive years. Wendy also supports and volunteers for a number of initiatives for underprivileged children in the greater Denver area including serving on Children's Hospital Colorado Annual Giving Committee. Wendy joined the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation Board of Directors in 2019. YCCF partners with the Big Sky and Gallatin Valley communities to promote arts, education, community services and conservation.
