John Baer, Esq., PharmD, is a pharmacist and attorney. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and his Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Denver College of Law. During law school, John continued to work as a clinical hospital pharmacist and was a legal intern at Roche Pharmaceuticals. John is solo practitioner and his law practice, Baer Law, focuses primarily on healthcare, regulatory and pharmacy law issues. He counsels and represents pharmacists, pharmacies (retail, chain, mail order, specialty, compounding, veterinary, long-term care, and nuclear), pharmacy start-ups, pharmacy manufacturers, and pharmacy wholesalers who are under investigation or the subject of enforcement proceedings initiated by state and federal regulatory boards or other licensing agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Food and Drug Administration. He also assists clients in matters related to pharmacy licensure, pharmacy regulatory compliance, risk management, preparatory audits, pharmacy training, pharmacy business planning and on federal and state laws governing pharmacy and controlled substances.
