Sarah B. Cure
8th Judicial District Court
Hon. Sarah B. Cure was appointed to the 8th Judicial District Court bench by Governor Jared Polis in 2020 and she handles a mixed docket of criminal, probate, adoption, and domestic matters. Prior to her appointment, she was the sole owner of The Cure Law Office for approximately 13 years and has been practicing in the private sector since 2005. Judge Cure handled complex criminal cases including grand jury indictments, violations of the Colorado Organize Crime Act, and homicides. While her practice focused largely on defending the accused in felony matters, she has experience in other areas of law, including representing respondents in civil mental health matters, juvenile direct files, post-conviction proceedings, administrative hearings, and mediation.
