Lawrence I. Weinstein Esq., is a partner at Proskauer Rose LLP, where he is a trial lawyer and the co-chair both of Proskauer's Intellectual Property Litigation Group and its False Advertising & Trademark Litigation practice. For nearly thirty years, Larry's practice has centered around false advertising litigation and advertising clearance and counseling. He litigates Lanham Act false advertising cases on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, defends clients in consumer class actions, and represents challengers and advertisers in NAD proceedings and NARB appeals. Larry's practice also includes trademark, trade secret, copyright, sports and art litigation. His clients include medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer products companies, apparel retailers, sports governing bodies, teams and leagues, and art collectors and dealers. Larry regularly speaks at the leading advertising and trademark law conferences, and is the founder and chief editor of Proskauer's widely read blog, Watch This Space: Proskauer on Advertising Law. Larry earned undergraduate and masters degrees from Johns Hopkins University, and his J.D. from N.Y.U. Law School, where he was Articles Editor of the Law Review.
