E. Anthony Figg is a partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck.  He specializes in intellectual property law involving the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical and healthcare industries.  His practice is focused primarily in the areas of patent litigation, appellate practice, patent interferences and patent prosecution.  Mr. Figg is the Immediate Past Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the American Bar Association.  He also is a member of the Executive Committee of the U.S. Group of AIPPI and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  He has published and lectured extensively on various aspects of patent law.
