David A. Tonini

David Tonini, Esq., is an Assistant United States Attorney and Chief of the Cybercrime and National Security Section in the District of Colorado. He leads a team of federal prosecutors who specialize in, among other national security issues, investigating and prosecuting cyberattacks, hacking, and data theft. He regularly advises on data security laws, and he will teach cybercrime in Spring 2022 as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Colorado School of Law. David previously practiced commercial litigation at a law firm in Denver.
