Megan M. Adeyemo is an attorney with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP. Her practice focuses primarily on the representation of debtors, creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings throughout the United States. She has represented creditors’ committees, debtors-in-possession, Chapter 11 and 7 trustees, liquidating trustees, and secured and unsecured creditors for a broad and diverse range of business entities that includes destination resort clubs, finance, farming, manufacturing, real estate, franchisees, and commercial property. Her experience also includes the representation of commercial property owners and landlords in lease and other tenant-related litigation and secured lenders in foreclosures and proceedings to appoint receivers.
In 2011, Ms. Adeyemo was a top five semifinalist for the Rising Star Award, presented by the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, and she currently serves on the organization’s board as co-chair of the Mountain/Desert Network. She is vice-chair of publications and publications director for the Bankruptcy Committee of the Business Section of the American Bar Association. She was previously co-chair of the Bankruptcy Subsection of the Colorado Bar Association. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, and earned her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law.
