Arnold Hanuman, Esq., is the Deputy Exec. Dir of CDAC.  Prior to joining CDAC, Arnold was a Deputy DA in the Boulder DA’s office and an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Prince Georges County State’s Attorney’s Office in Prince Georges County, MD.  Between his years as a state prosecutor, Arnold was a sole practitioner in CO focusing on business, real estate, and state and federal criminal defense matters, successfully appealing a criminal matter to the U.S. Supreme Court.  His current activities include legislative policy analysis, training for law enforcement and prosecutors, participation in statewide task forces, and other national training efforts for prosecutors.  Arnold clerked at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and completed externships with the U.S. DOJ – Criminal Division, and the State of MD Public Defender’s Office.  Prior to his legal career, he worked at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., where he held a number of corporate strategy and project management positions.  He is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, studied International Human Rights Law at Oxford University, England, and earned his B.A. from CU-Boulder.  He is the immediate Past-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Colorado (SABA-CO) and a member of the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association.
