MEGAN DOWNING, ESQ. is a partner at the Denver law firm of Recht Kornfeld, PC. Prior to joining Recht Kornfeld, Megan worked as a trial attorney in the Brighton office of the Colorado State Public Defender. Megan has defended countless criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors and serious traffic cases to felonies of every kind. Megan earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she won the 2005 Outstanding Student Lawyer Award for Criminal Representation. She is a Colorado native.
