Lillian Alves is the Deputy Securities Commissioner for the Colorado Division of Securities. Prior to joining the Division in 2014, she was responsible for an internal anti-counterfeiting program at OtterBox. She has also been an Assistant Chief Counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) where she performed agency counsel and immigration litigation functions. For about half of her time at ICE, Ms. Alves was an Special Assistant United States Attorney assigned to the District of Colorado where she handled felony prosecutions, including a number of white collar cases. She holds a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
