Melissa C. Meirink

The Honorable Melissa C. Meirink was appointed to the Colorado Court of Appeals in January 2025. Prior to her appointment, she was a staff attorney for the Colorado Supreme Court, with primary responsibility for the preliminary review of certiorari petitions, original proceedings, and motions filed with the court. Prior to beginning her career in public service, she worked at two large, prominent Denver law firms as an environmental and regulatory compliance attorney. She earned her B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University, where she was an executive editor for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice.
