Daniel Johnson, MD is a practicing internal medicine physician and an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (UCHSC) in Denver.  Dr. Johnson is a Faculty Associate with the Center for Bioethics and Humanities (UCHSC) and a member of the University of Colorado Hospital Ethics Committee.  He also serves as Director of Medical Education for the Life Quality Institute – a Hospice of Metro Denver-affiliated organization committed to palliative care education for health professionals and communities.  Dr. Johnson received his bachelor's degree from the Colorado School of Mines and completed his medical education and residency training at the University of Colorado.  He is a Soros Faculty Scholar for the Project on Death in America and has completed the Program in Palliative Care Education and Practice at Harvard Medical School.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
